whats with all the bad reviews? I agree its over priced, but way better than food in the sub and biblio has no hot food. yummy food though and there's tons of seating, not sure where you tried to sit..... a shame they have pizza so infrequently, not in the summer weekends or evenings. big mistake the hot dog place and changing the options every year, and why have gelato year round?? have something everyone can eat instead thats actually healthy and not a hot weather food
Mad respect to UVic. Most places wouldn't blatantly price-gouge like this, but UVic is an absolute DAWG when it comes to pricing food.
As a Chinese student I am not expecting a taste exactly like home. I ordered Mongolian Black Bean at Chopbox and it is at least ‘acceptable’. They provide free, authentic chili oil, That tastes awesome. Waffle fries at Flamin Chicken taste delicious(except a little overpriced) I would eat here again during the lunch break. The whole place is overpriced. Add a tofu can cost 4.99. I once asked for a paper cup for some ice water and was refused. First time ever in Canada. Cherry at flamin chicken is soooo nice and patient. Intended to rate three stars but for Cherry I would give four.

Flamin chicken is amazing 10/10. Everything was delcious (as good as popeyes) and was a price comparable to a mcdonalds meal. Staff was super friendly as well
Most low ratings are from a few years ago, but right now Mystic is pretty good! I guess the Cove helps as the competition.
